________ was in kindergarten when she transferred to her new school. She walked into her large classroom for the first time, awed by the size. Many children were playing with friends and classmates. _________ didn't know anyone and was too shy to talk, so she settled in the back of the room where it was quiet.
________ stood on her tiptoes to reach a bin filled with wooden blocks and pulled it down. She was building a tower until somebody approaching her caught her attention.
It was a little boy with auburn hair and light brown eyes. He still had some of baby fat, making him look pudgy but cute.
"Hi there!" He waved. She shyly waved back, but didn't say anything. "My name is Feliciano. But if that's too hard to remember, just call me Feli!" He introduced himself as he sat down next to her.
"I'm _________..." She smiled a little. Feliciano picked up a block and stacked it on top of her tower. "It's all done!" He cheered. Dimples dotted his plump cheeks, smiling in delight.
"What's that?" She pointed a finger at Feliciano's stray curl. "This? I don't know!" He shrugged and made it bounce, causing her to giggle.
"Do you want to be my friend?" Feliciano asked.
And that's where it all began.

________ and Feliciano had stuck together every day since. He always made her smile and laugh. There was always a shoulder to cry on when she were sad. Feliciano would be there no matter what. That was back in elementary school. Middle school was completely different story.
They were friends for a little while in 6th grade, though.
Classmates would constantly make fun of them for being best friends with the opposite gender. It was bad.
"Why are you friends with a boy?"
"Wouldn't you rather be friends with a girl, like a normal person?"
"You guys look so stupid together. Just stop hanging out already."
You would hear them say.
"Ciao, ________!" Feliciano sat across from her at the lunch table. He then noticed her gloomy expression and asked, "What's wrong?"
"Feli... We can't hang out anymore." She mumbled looking downward. She couldn't meet his gaze. It was just heartbreaking, because he was always so bubbly and happy.
Before he could even say anything, ________ took off. She ran out of the cafeteria; and all the way to the other side of the school to hide in the bathroom. Sure she cried in there, but she got over it and calmed down.
"I don't need him anymore..."

High school made it's way into your life three years later.
Feliciano no longer attended the same school as you. You weren't sure since you haven't talked to him recently, but you heard others saying that he moved away. His location was unknown.
"I wonder where he is now..." You thought. An awful feeling tugged at your heart a bit. You never said a proper goodbye to him. And by this point, you were starting to miss him. A lot, actually.

Now it is the summer break of your last year of high school. Senior year. Finally. You plan to visit Italy over the summer, and you can't wait anymore.
You say your goodbyes and depart onto the airplane. Several hours later, you find yourself standing in the beautiful country of Italy. You can't believe the sight before your eyes.
Friendly Italians guide you around, making you feel more relaxed and comfortable. That's when your stomach growls at you, begging for something to eat. When was the last time you ate anything...? Time to try some of that tasty Italian food.
One restaurant in particular catches your eye as you stroll through the city. You sit at your table while you patiently wait for your order. Someone brushes past you.
You could've sworn you recognized the back of their head. Auburn hair with a curly strand poking out. No. Way.
"Feliciano?" You call out. The person turns hearing his name.
The light brown eyes you knew for so many years met with yours.
"Ve!"
He runs over and hugs you in a playful embrace. The familiar scent of pasta brings tears to your eyes. A joyous smile lights up your face.
You are so happy.

Chapter 8
---------------------------------------------------
Dreams never last forever, do they? Do they exist to make us believe that the world is actually a good place to live? Or, are they here to tease us, showing everyone that they are only accomplished in our imagination?
I was this close to achieving my dream, but it feels as if it is slowly fading away...
You must be thinking ,Why are you thinking this way?
It all started on the day where I was finally with my beloved. He helped me with so much, so I was the happiest girl in the world when he asked me out on a date.

He was never really noticed. His twin brother Alfred F. Jones would always grab the attention. It made him stand alone with no one really knowing who he is. Everyone acted as if he was never in the room, including his own brother. If someone did see him, which would be a rare occurrence, they would mistaken him as the over-energetic American or wondered who he was. Even his own pet, a cute polar bear whom he named Kumajiro that can miraculously talk, doesn't know his owner's name.
